Overview
Apogee has an opportunity for a Program Manager to provide contractor site reachback support for the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). This position provides acquisition program management support, Studies & Analysis assistance, and program scheduling expertise.
This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to government sites.
Responsibilities
Management Surge Support
Provide acquisition management surge support for MAR JPO programs
Support rapid response requirements for programmatic expertise
Assist in advocacy briefings and senior leadership presentations
Support acquisition strategy development and market research
Studies & Analysis
Execute Studies & Analysis (S&A) tasks as assigned through Task Directives
Prepare Task Directive Plans (TDPs) with approach, deliverables, and schedules
Conduct trade studies on acquisition approaches and strategies
Support cost analyses and business case development
Milestone Documents
Prepare acquisition milestone documents for ACAT II and III programs
Support Acquisition Strategy Plan (ASP) development
Assist in preparation of Early Strategy & Issues Session (ESIS) packages
Develop program decision briefings and documentation
Programmatic Expertise
Provide acquisition management expertise and best practices
Support contract strategy development
Assist in proposal evaluation and source selection support
Provide risk assessment and mitigation planning
Qualifications
Minimum Experience
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret-level clearance
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or APDP Program Management Level 3 certification
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Years of Experience: 12 years of DoD acquisition experience
Additional experience
Experience with ACAT II or III programs required
APDP Program Management Level 2 or 3 certification preferred
Knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems or similar avionics programs
Strong analytical and technical writing skills; Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
Education: Master's Degree in a related field
Years of Experience: 10 years of DoD acquisition experience
Additional Information
Location: Contractor Site (National - Remote)
On-site: This is a full-time remote position
Travel: Travel up to 20% may be required, per the customer's discretion
