Pharmacist Location: Fishersville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,146 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Shifts Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3-5 years of hospital experience preferred License: Virginia licensure required Certifications: PharmD, RPh Must-Have: - Experience in inpatient pharmacy workflows - Familiarity with order verification, IV room oversight, and automated dispensing system management - Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team - Knowledge of high-alert medications and therapeutic monitoring Description: We are seeking a friendly, adaptable, and clinically skilled pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. The role focuses on managing inpatient pharmacy workflows. Responsibilities include order verification, oversight of the IV room, and management of the automated dispensing system. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient care in a community hospital setting. Travelers are welcome, provided they meet all other qualifications. There is no call requirement associated with this position. Candidates should have experience with psychiatric, cardiac, geriatric, and infectious disease dosing. Experience with anticoagulation therapy, drug shortage management, and sterile technique is also valuable. Successful candidates will be able to handle therapeutic medication monitoring and compounding. Weekend coverage will be required every 3-4 weeks. The unit supports a patient population including adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 185 patients. Candidates must be willing to adapt to a rotating schedule or consistent evening shifts. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for THC; medical marijuana cards are not accepted. Fit testing is required for all pharmacists. If an exemption is needed, documentation from an approved provider must be submitted prior to starting.
