Job Description Our organization is on the lookout for an Endocrinology Physician to become part of a multispecialty practice at our clinic located in Wyoming, MN. This site is conveniently situated just 30 minutes northeast of Minneapolis and provides a wide range of primary and specialty care services. Join a dedicated team of over 25 specialists!Practice Overview:Become a member of a network comprising 18 Endocrinologists and 5 advanced practice providers operating in community clinics across the system.This position is a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE), requiring 36 hours of patient contact each week.Deliver comprehensive care, including the diagnosis and management of diabetes, osteoporosis, and disorders affecting the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and parathyroid glands.Participate in a call rotation of 1:3, which involves phone calls only, initially directed to nurse triage, resulting in minimal disruption.Engage in collaborative opportunities with fellow Endocrinology professionals within the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota.Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC) in place.Benefit from an established referral network of primary care and subspecialty physicians employed by our organization.Community Insights:Wyoming, Minnesota - Located just 30 miles north of St. Paul and 33 miles northeast of Minneapolis, Wyoming and its neighboring areas are surrounded by beautiful lakes, lush wetlands, and scenic landscapes. The combination of abundant recreational opportunities, urban accessibility, and the natural beauty that Minnesota is renowned for makes this a desirable place to live and work.Qualifications:Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship training program.Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.Possession of or eligibility for a Minnesota Board of Medical Practice License.Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the state of Minnesota.Meet the necessary criteria for Credentialing and Privileges.
