Header: Responsibilities * Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications * Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation * Manage and direct teams of construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment * Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and guide on-site execution * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations including OSHA standards; implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections * Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and adherence to project specifications * Monitor project budgets, track costs using HeavyBid or similar tools, and manage contracts to ensure financial objectives are met or exceeded Header: Qualifications * Proven experience supervising commercial or heavy civil construction projects with a strong background in construction management * Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Prolog; familiarity with construction management software is essential * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints accurately * Strong understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA requirements; experience managing safety programs on-site * Skilled in managing teams effectively, including crew management, supervision of subcontractors, and fostering teamwork in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination, client interactions, and managing contracts effectively * Familiarity with construction regulations related to federal projects or pipeline infrastructure is a plus; experience supervising large-scale projects preferred * Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to lead impactful projects while honing their managerial skills.
