Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Overview
As a mid-level SDET at Metron’s Reston team, you will build and mature testing infrastructure for production software used in simulation, optimization, and decision support. You’ll implement robust test harnesses, mocking systems, and both automated and manual testing strategies, while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. You’ll help improve software quality and reliability across Java, Rust, and TypeScript-based applications, working closely with researchers, engineers, and end users.
