Job Summary Coordinate and provide for the efficient and timely flow of all material purchases including order placement per established schedules, price verification on all orders placed, adherence to inventory level objectives if ordering stock, communication with departments on back orders if ordering non-stock, invoice resolution in a timely manner, and any other tasks as determined on a situational basis. Conduct daily system maintenance. Assists in keying of issues when necessary. Responsibilities: 1. Processes all requests for inventory and non-inventory supplies per established guidelines and order schedule. 2. Conducts product research and acquires pricing quotations. 3. Conducts system maintenance daily including pricing information, catalog number changes, conversions and item numbers. 4. Initiates and maintains standing orders. 5. Maintains adequate records and logs per established guidelines. 6. Maintains vendor/product information files. 7. Maintains a neat, clean and organized area. 8. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: EDUCATION & TRAINING: High school graduate EXPERIENCE: Procurement experience. Computerized inventory knowledge. LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A #LI-DNI
