You will be part of a small, hands-on team that values collaboration and personalized patient care.This role offers a consistent daytime schedule with flexible hours, allowing for a strong work‑life balance. On‑call responsibilities are minimal, occurring only once per month, and you’ll be part of a supportive, teamwork‑driven branch culture that values collaboration and patient care. Mileage, parking, and tolls are fully reimbursed, and the position provides an ideal balance of in‑office stability with light fieldwork to keep each day engaging.Key HighlightsWork Arrangement: On-site; 80% office / 20% fieldHours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; flexibleTravel Radius: Up to 2 hours from branchSalary range$30 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.On-Call transparencyRotation once per month.What You’ll DoConduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑upsEducate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAssess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriatelyRespond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needsCollaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teamsMaintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptopSet up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilationInspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating conditionPerform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signsPerforms other duties as requiredWhat We Look ForRegistered Respiratory Therapist with an active MI RT license.Open to all experience levels, including new graduates.Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.Valid driver's licenseComfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentationEducationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCertificates, licenses, registrations or professional designationsHold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapyHold a current CPR CertificationHold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practiceIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply!Teammate BenefitsAs an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
