Systems Engineer

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.Duties:Lead WiFi firmware defect triage and deep log analysis across router and modem platformsInvestigate and resolve CPE quality and reliability incidents impacting WiFi performanceDevelop detailed RCAs for firmware-related defects and customer-impacting issuesSupport firmware readiness for major launches such as: WiFi 7, 6GHz enablement, new CPE platforms and DOCSIS 4.0 initiativesCollaborate with CPE vendors to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure quality deliveryPerform end-to-end troubleshooting across WiFi routers, DOCSIS CMs, CMTS/iCMTS infrastructureReview and validate cable modem configuration files as part of defect isolationBuild and maintain network testing labs for firmware validation such as: switches, PDUs, modems and ONUsUtilize Linux jump boxes for debugging, scripting, and secure remote accessDesired Skills/Experience:Linux systems (Bash, SSH key authentication)Python, Perl, Shell scriptingSQLREST APIsNetwork lab buildout and validationCable modem configuration filesStrong telecom or broadband engineering backgroundDeep hands-on experience with WiFi firmware troubleshooting and log analysisExperience working with CPE router and modem platformsSolid understanding of DOCSIS (CM, CMTS, iCMTS) in support of WiFi operationsExperience leading firmware-related RCA investigationsVendor collaboration experience for firmware defect remediationBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position starting at $115,000 - $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
