This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values stability, autonomy, and the satisfaction of building efficient, accurate, and compliant tax processes in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all organizational tax compliance activitiesPrepare S corporation and partnership tax returnsOversee multi‑state sales and use tax filingsSupport personal property tax assessments and reportingManage exemption certificate compliance, book‑to‑tax reconciliations, and M adjustmentsHandle rental fleet and fixed asset depreciation reportingMaintain and optimize tax setup, configuration, and testing within the ERP systemRespond to user tax inquiries and assist with system enhancements and improvementsSupport federal, state, and local audit requestsParticipate in quarterly estimated payments, cash planning, and annual tax planning initiativesIdentify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency within tax workflowsMonitor changes in GAAP and tax regulations and ensure timely adoption of updatesCollaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, and leadership on projects and strategic initiativesWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive tax experience; a blend of public accounting and industry experience preferredStrong expertise in income tax, sales and use tax, and property taxExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentStrong system aptitude with Microsoft Office and tax softwareCPA preferred but not required
