Repairs Technician I

Position: Repairs Technician IDepartment: 10-245 Wadsworth Rental DepotReports to: Rental Operations ManagerLocation: Wooster, OHJOB SUMMARYPerforms routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on rental equipment under supervision to support safe, reliable, and timely equipment operation. Assists with preventative maintenance, component replacement, equipment preparation, and standard repair procedures while following established safety and maintenance guidelines. Maintains service documentation and supports equipment readiness through inspections, cleaning, and general upkeep to help ensure equipment is properly prepared for rental deployment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform preventative maintenance and inspectionsComplete basic repairs and component replacementPrepare equipment for rental deploymentComponent replacement (motors, seals, bearings, hoses, etc.)Inspection checklists and cleaningFollow safety and maintenance proceduresMaintain service documentationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* Technical training or mechanical background preferred* 0-2 years equipment repair experienceQUALIFICATIONSMechanical aptitudeSafety awarenessReliability and quality workmanshipPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
