Leads assist with daily placement, break rotations, inventory, incentives and documentation.Leads will also be responsible for the same tasks as a team member.We Are Currently Looking For aNoah's Ark - Park Services Lead - J1 StudentRoles & ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:Supervisory DutiesAssist with the daily supervision of the Park Services team and any other assigned departmentsLead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Noah’s Ark core valuesAct as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team membersBecome knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all Park Services positions and backfill these positions when neededParticipate in new-hire orientation and training activities for all assigned employeesEnsure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with Wisconsin lawEnsure daily sign-in sheets are completed and submitted each dayAssist with team scheduling and timekeeping activitiesDepartmental DutiesFollow the daily cleaning/nightly cleaning protocol set forth by leadershipAudit bathroom and overall park cleanlinessEnsure trash receptacles are clean and free of spills visually and are emptied on a regular basisOperate a trash compactorOperate golf-carts, vehicles, or other motorized equipment to perform daily dutiesStock and sanitize all restrooms, as neededEnsure all eating areas are clean and presentable to guestsEnsure benches and flowerbeds are clean and free of debrisRespond to clean-up calls involving fecal, vomit, and food spillsRoam all assigned area(s) to monitor cleanliness and assist guests and employeesCourteously resolve guest questions and concerns, and assist with lost children Ensure that all team members have necessary supplies to successfully perform dutiesProactively monitor the Park for safety hazards (e.g. wet floors, tripping hazards, etc.)Maintain records of all work completed and safety inspectionsMaintain high standards of performance for all assigned areas of responsibilityEnsure ADA standards are met in each locationAll other duties and special projects assigned by leadershipLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Education And ExperienceHigh School education preferred Equivalent work experience will be considered1+ year of previous Park Service, grounds, or housekeeping work experience desiredRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age to comply with Wisconsin Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftMust possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving recordAbility to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipmentAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess strong attention to detail and desire to keep park clean and presentableAbility to safely and properly use a variety of cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and chemicalsMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with all park guidelinesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of timeAbility to remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or moreAbility to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/toolsAbility to see details of objects that are more than a few feet awayWorking ConditionsFrequent exposure to all outdoor and indoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, pollen and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, highly populated areas, and exposure to various cleaning chemicalsSubject to bloodborne pathogens Proper PPE is required in these situations.Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activitiesTeam Member BenefitsWorking at Noah’s Ark is about making people happy!
