Engineering Technician

Job Summary: Reynolds Systems Inc. (RSI) is a small high-tech business that focuses on the manufacturing of micro-electronic components in support of the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Engineering Technician to work within our Manufacturing department to aid in the production of these devices. This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The engineering technician will report to the Production Manager and will work with engineers, technicians, quality control and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment and machinery. Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Record production data and maintain accurate documentation for traceability. Assemble components or products using hand tools and machinery. Use precise measuring equipment on small parts including analytical scales, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, microscopes, etc. Follow all company safety protocols and report on any unsafe conditions. Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and other team members to support continuous improvement. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus. 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Ability to read and understand technical documentation. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems. Basic math and measurement skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good physical stamina: ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed. Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance.
