Epicore serves as the system of record for fulfillment across multiple business lines and is central to future automation efforts.This role is responsible for turning operational workflows into reliable software and ensuring Epicore scales with the business.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Epicore platformBuild order management and cook order automation workflowsIntegrate Epicore with Shopify, Galley, ShipStation, and other internal systemsSupport new business lines (Fallon, B2B, acquisitions) through system extensionsImprove operational tooling for customer service and fulfillment teamsEnsure system reliability, performance, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with operations, data, and front-end teamsLead the initial migration of the existing Epicore ASP.NET Web Forms / SQL Server application to a standardized ASP.NET MVC / Razor-based boilerplate with Microsoft Entra ID authentication , establishing a modern, maintainable foundation before major feature expansionOwn technical decision-making within Epicore's scope and execute work with a high degree of autonomyProvide regular, proactive status updates to the CTO and SVP of Software Engineering, including progress, risks, and tradeoffsIdentify and prioritize technical debt remediation as part of ongoing Epicore developmentBalance stabilization, modernization, and feature delivery to support operational growthQualifications4+ years experience building production web applicationsStrong experience with C# / .NET and SQL ServerMVCKnowledge of js framework like react/vue/alpine/angularExperience designing APIs and internal systemsComfortable working in an evolving, operationally-driven environmentStrong problem-solving and ownership mindsetExperience integrating third-party platforms (Shopify, ERP, shipping systems)Willingness to be partially onsite in Glen Cove, NYPreferred QualificationsExperience with order management, fulfillment, or logistics systemsFamiliarity with healthcare-adjacent compliance considerationsCompensation & Benefits Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experienceBenefits include:401(k)Health, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Meal DiscountsEqual Employment OpportunityEpicured is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
