Security Patrol Officer

Job Description Description:We are looking for a vigilant and professional Security Patrol Officer to join our team Full-Time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. This role requires strong observational skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.Responsibilities:Protect company's property, staff and clients by maintaining a safe and secure environmentObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbancesAct lawfully in direct defense of life or propertyWrite detailed incident reports, take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and maintain daily activity logsReport in detail any suspicious incidentsPatrol randomly or regularly building and perimeterMonitor surveillance and control access at building entrances and vehicle gatesWatch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipmentPerform first aid or CPRControl access to buildings and property by verifying identification and authorizations.Respond to emergencies and assist law enforcement when necessary.Deter criminal activity through visible presence and adherence to security protocols.Requirements:High school diploma or GED required.Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred but not always required)Experience with surveillance systems and patrol procedures is a plus.Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsStrong observational and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation.Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.Ability to work independently and follow protocols.Other Requirements:Must pass a background check and drug screening.Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.Benefits:Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)Paid Time Off (PTO) – vacation, holidays- 3 WEEKS PTO401(k) Retirement PlanLife InsuranceDisability Insurance – Short-term and/or Long-termEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Uniforms Provided
