Implementation Consultant
Overview:
In this role you will lead the implementation and integration of WorkForce Software solutions for customers, ensuring configurations meet business requirements and go live on schedule. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive successful rollouts, including data migration and testing. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, mentor teammates, and continuously improve delivery processes. A strong client-facing, proactive mindset and fluency with WFS tools and scripting are essential to delivering tangible value at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Configure WFS Suite to meet customer requirements using JavaScript, HTML, SQL and scripting tools
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation, use cases, and process diagrams
- Plan, test, and validate configurations; escalate out-of-scope items
- Facilitate client workshops and manage project scope, estimates, and timelines
- Coordinate data migration, go-live activities, and post-implementation support
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement across projects
- Support pre-sales activities, proposals, and SOWsBuild cross-functional partnerships to ensure successful customer implementations
- Develop subject matter expertise across multiple WFS products and related HR/time domains
- Investigate defects during testing, track issues, and document resolutions
- Manage client expectations and maintain project profitability through accurate time tracking
- Lead rollout strategy and efficiency initiatives within internal programs
- Communicate risks and delays promptly to stakeholders
- Maintain adherence to documentation standards and best practices
Key requirements:
- 4-6 years of software implementations experience 3-5 years of programming experience (JavaScript and/or SQL)
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, HTML or related scripting tools
- Experience with packaged software implementations or complex internal applications
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to read/write SQL and create simple queries
- Experience in client-facing engagements and ability to work independently on multiple assignments
- Willingness to travel up to 50%communication (written and verbal)problem-solvingleadership and mentoring
