He/she is also responsible for assisting the cashier in the collection of payment for all guest transactions.ResponsibilitiesApproach all guests and employees with a smile.Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.Be attentive of guests' needs assist in providing a pleasant dining experience.Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance.Ability to answer the telephone according to standards.Have a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant.Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.English fluency requiredMust be able to show initiative in job performance including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUSAbility to input and access information in computers.Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysWilling and able to stand/walk for entire shift if neededPossess basic reading, writing and math skills
