This role involves delivering direct patient care across a variety of units while utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards of practice.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver age-specific, direct patient care using the nursing processMonitor and manage patients in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, and related unitsAdminister medications and treatments per physician orders and clinical protocolsAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plansProvide leadership by delegating tasks to support staff appropriatelyMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR systemEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulationsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomesRequired QualificationsActive RN license (must be obtained prior to start if not already active)BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications requiredDe-escalation training required prior to contract start (or scheduled before orientation)Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environmentPreferred ExperienceExperience Minimum 2 years of experienced required in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, or Critical Care settingsComfort working with diverse patient populations, including adult and pediatric patientsAdditional InformationEMR System: CPSI/EvidentNo on-call requirementCompliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements is mandatoryThis is an excellent opportunity for a versatile RN looking to expand their experience across multiple care settings while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #295888.
