Experienced Large Forklift Operator for Local Warehouse

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Forklift Warehouse Driver to operate large-capacity forklifts for moving, loading, and unloading heavy materials within the warehouse and yard. The ideal candidate has experience handling oversized or high-weight loads while maintaining strict safety and operational standards.Key Responsibilities Operate heavy-duty forklifts to transport, stack, load, and unload materialsHandle oversized, high-weight, or palletized loads safely and efficientlyLoad and unload trucks, containers, and storage racksPerform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checksFollow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulationsAccurately complete load documentation and inventory recordsAssist with warehouse organization and material placementReport equipment issues, damages, or safety concerns immediatelyWork collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teamsRequirements & Qualifications Valid forklift certification (heavy or high-capacity forklifts required) experience will be consideredProven experience operating heavy forklifts in a warehouse or industrial settingAbility to lift, move, and manage heavy materials safelyStrong understanding of warehouse safety proceduresBasic math and record-keeping skillsAbility to work standing, bending, and lifting for extended periodsWillingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or outdoors if requiredPreferred Skills Experience with oversized or industrial loadsKnowledge of inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS)Strong attention to detail and spatial awarenessTeam-oriented with good communication skillsWork Environment Warehouse and yard settingExposure to heavy machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to company-specified weight limitsProlonged forklift operation and manual material handlingTaking Applications Monday-Friday between 7am -5pmPlease have two forms of government issued identification in handLabor Finders of Augusta4210 Columbia Rd Bldg 5-AMartinez, GA 30907"#JAZZ1"Powered by JazzHR
