Title: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR- RESEARCHEmployee Type: FacultyDepartment: LSUNO AnatomyCampus Location: ANATOMYJob Summary/Basic FunctionsThe Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking a candidate for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure track) who will contribute to the departmental mission in a team-teaching oriented environment.Interested applicants must have the ability to immediately instruct in Gross Anatomy. Expertise in Neuroanatomy, Embryology and/or Histology could also be helpful. Candidates with experience in cadaveric dissection in a health science center environment will be given prioritized consideration. Teaching duties may be assigned within the multiple health professional schools of the LSU Health Sciences Center (Medicine, Dentistry, Allied Health, Nursing and Graduate). Successful candidates will also be expected to participate in scholarly research, preferably but not restricted to, educational research.
