Job Description Resurrected Life Children's Academy is seeking a full-time Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our mission of providing a comprehensive child development program designed to give children a head start in life, empowering parents, and strengthening families. If you have the passion and heart to make a difference and uplift communities, Resurrected Life Children's Academy is the place for you!Responsibilities:Implement educational programming within the program philosophy and under all RLCA Performance Standards, Pennsylvania Learning Standards for early childhood accreditation, and licensing requirements to support the developmental needs of each child.Ability to be confidential with staff, students, and parentsCommitment to work with low-income families/childrenPlan and maintain an integrated classroom environment and materials in response to the enrolled children and ensure organization, cleanliness, and safety in all classroomsAnalyze observations and assessments to plan for each childAttend staff development activitiesQualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related field.At least two years of experience working with children, preferably in a classroom settingSpanish bilingual preferredAbility to recognize and appreciate diversityAbility to carry a minimum of 50 lbs. to assist children as needed and to move equipment and materials.Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and learn web-based systemsComplete screenings, observations, assessments, and education plans as scheduled and maintain up-to-date documentation in children's filesSuccessful completion of the pre-employment process, including Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI clearancesTo apply, please send your resume to hr@rcdclv.orgJoin us on our mission to provide an uplifting environment in a community-based program!Equal Opportunity Employer StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
