Desktop Support Specialist
Onsite, Downtown Dallas, TX6 month contract with CDWCDW is seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Technician who can hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision. This role will support laptop refresh initiatives, new user onboarding, and day-to-day end-user support, requiring strong technical skills and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute large-scale laptop refresh and replacement projects, including imaging, configuration, and deploymentOnboard new users, prepare and image new systems, and ensure successful first-day readinessProvide hands-on desktop and Windows 11 support for end usersTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely mannerUse SCCM to image, deploy, and manage devicesManage and support users and devices in Active Directory (ADUC)Deliver clear, professional communication while supporting users at all technical levelsDocument work and follow established IT processes and standardsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience supporting laptop refresh initiatives and device deploymentsStrong customer service and communication skillsHands-on experience with:Microsoft 365Microsoft SCCMActive Directory (ADUC)Windows 11Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with ControlUpPrior enterprise or corporate IT support experienceQualificationsPrevious experience in desktop support, end-user computing, or IT support rolesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsReliable, detail-oriented, and user-focused approachWhy Join Us?Opportunity to contribute immediately on impactful IT initiativesCollaborative team environment with autonomy and trustExposure to modern enterprise tools and technologiesJ-18808-Ljbffr
