Enterprise Architect/Systems Engineer
Overview
In this role, you will shape and document the client's IT enterprise architecture to enable interoperability across organizations. You will align the enterprise baseline, future state, and transition plan with the client's vision, working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and handle mission-critical risks. You will contribute to a national security program and enable scalable, architecture-driven outcomes. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and strategic planning.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document IT enterprise architecture detailing capabilities, dependencies, and risksCreate Enterprise Architecture Baseline, capturing current IT state across multiple organizationsDefine Enterprise Architecture Future State aligned with client visionCraft Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan to move from as-is to future stateCollaborate with cross-functional teams including content providers/consumers, developers, engineers, and business analystsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Key requirementsActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph≥8 years with BS/BA; ≥6 years with MS/MA; ≥3 years with PhD (4 years of additional experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree)Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar roleStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)Familiarity with SysML/UML and Model-Based Systems Engineeringcross-functional collaborationinnovation mindsetcommunication with diverse stakeholdersEnterprise architecture frameworks (UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)SysML and UMLModel-Based Systems Engineering tools (MBSE) e.g., MagicDraw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys
