This position works closely with the bus driver to supervise student behavior, assist with loading and unloading, and help ensure a positive and secure environment on the bus.Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise students while boarding, riding, and exiting the school bus to ensure safety and appropriate behaviorAssist students, including those with special needs, in safely entering and exiting the busEnsure students are seated properly and follow established safety proceduresMaintain order on the bus and report disciplinary concerns to appropriate school officialsCommunicate effectively with the bus driver regarding student needs or issues during routesMonitor and assist with the use of safety equipment, including seat belts and wheelchair restraints if applicableProvide support during emergency situations, including evacuations, following established protocolsMaintain a respectful and supportive environment for all studentsComplete required reports and documentation as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience working with children, preferably in a school or childcare settingOpen Until Filled:Review of applications and interviews will begin as applications are received and selection of a candidate may occur at any time.This position is for a minimum of 5 hours per day and follows the student calendar. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
