This role sits at the intersection of spacecraft systems engineering and next-generation AI-enabled mission integration.Key ResponsibilitiesOwntechnical deliveryacross customer projects from concept through execution Conductspace vehicle-level trade studies(spacecraft buses & payloads) across multiple vendors Performarchitecture analysis , including: Compatibility assessments Interface risk identification Ranked recommendations with clear engineering rationale Producecustomer-facing technical deliverables , including: Compliance matrices Architecture summaries Risk assessments Ensure outputs are: Robust enough fordesign reviews Clear and actionable forprogram managers Validate engineering analysesfor accuracy, completeness, and quality Helpshape internal engineering processes and methodologiesbased on hands-on spacecraft integration experienceProject ContextBuilding anAI-driven mission integratorthat aggregates and optimizes across multiple vendors Supportingmodel trainingthrough real mission architecture work Focus areas include: Mission architecture (system-level design) SAR mission design Optical payload expertiseRequirementsUS Person (ITAR compliant) 5+ yearsof spacecraft systems engineering experience Strong background in: Spacecraft integration Multi-vendor environments Mission architecture & trade studies
