BIM Modeler - MEP & HVAC

Job Title: BIM ModelerLocation: Carrollton, GA (Relocation Assistance Available)Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Modeler to join our team in Carrollton, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models that support the design and coordination of mechanical systems across a range of construction projects. You will collaborate closely with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, clash-free models that support field efficiency and project success.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with any project that requires BIM modelingModel all scopes of work as outlined in bid documents or requested by the field teamEnsure the model database is complete prior to beginning modelingUse approved submittal parts and maintain a consistent project databaseUpload updated models to Procore weeklyUpload native files to the client-provided platform dailyPerform clash detection for Mullins scope of workReview constructability and perform QA/QC on models prior to sign-offCoordinate with the owner and other trades during BIM coordination sessionsSign off on models applicable to Mullins' scopeExtract isometric and shop drawings upon final model approvalReport weekly model status to the BIM Lead or ManagerProvide weekly model dumps for material quantity tracking and procurementQualifications5+ years of professional experience in BIM modelingStrong 3D piping knowledge, including process piping and exhaust duct detailingProficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and 3D modeling softwareWorking knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3DExperience using NavisworksStrong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to coordination and communicationWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coveragePaid holidays and paid vacation401(k) retirement planRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesJoin UsMullins Mechanical ranked #243 on the 2024 ENR Top Specialty Contractors list, #48 in the Nation and #5 in the Southeast among Firms in Mechanical.
