Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for a customer service representative for Mondays and Tuesdays approximately 8am-4pm. There is a potential for additional hours. Coastal Holistic Veterinary Services is a small animal veterinary practice that provides high quality general medicine, surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, chiropractic care and nutrition support. Our current team works well together to provide excellent care for our patients and clients while keeping everyone's quality of life a priority. We are currently seeking a part time receptionist. The candidate must be comfortable working in a veterinary clinic setting, have good customer service skills and be proficient working with computers and technology. Our ideal candidate would have experience working in a vet clinic. They would be interested in holistic veterinary medicine, a team player, punctual, flexible, reliable, proficient with computers and technology, compassionate, calm under pressure, able to comfortably and safely lift and carry at least 50lbs, proficient multi-tasker and able to work weekends when needed. Benefits include: Paid vacation/sick leave Retirement plan and health insurance for full time employees Responsibilities - Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone at the veterinary clinic. - Schedule appointments, check out clients, collect payments and manage the front desk operations efficiently. - Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients and staff. - Handle animals with care and ensure their comfort and safety while waiting for appointments. - Assist with administrative tasks and maintain a clean reception area. - Provide exceptional customer service and support to pet owners.
