The facility is located in the borough of Jessup, Pennsylvania (near Scranton, PA)./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe OM Technician provides the organization with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled, troubleshooting expert who operates and maintains a combined cycle power station. This position requires highly flexible individuals that work various shift schedules in a team environment. Invenergy will train extensively in the operations area to compliment your skills./ppThis position reports to the Operations Manager./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliThe OM Technician will be a team player performing operations, maintenance and technical support to achieve safe, cost effective operation and maintenance of the Lackawanna Energy Center./liliOperate the facility during start-up, shutdown, normal and emergency conditions in accordance with operating procedures and instructions to maintain a safe and efficient operation./liliMaintain and trouble-shoot mechanical, electrical and or control systems in a power generation facility./liliPerform/direct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean safe work environment and professional appearance./liliWork within and ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental procedures./liliThe OM Technician will work various shifts and be subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime and must be able to work holidays./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliExperience in power plant operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance or instrument and controls./liliComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office software./liliGood verbal and written communications skills./liliCandidates must be willing and capable of becoming multi-skilled and be part of a self-directed work team in a team environment./liliEach employee will perform both operations and maintenance./liliEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future./liliValid drivers license and acceptable driving record./li/ulh3Preferred Requirements/h3ulliGE Frame 7FA or 7HA experience desired but not required./li/ulpThis is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company./ppBase Pay: $38.86 - $69.78 USD Hourly Bonus: 0% - 10%/ppThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
