This role focuses on generating new catering—particularly wedding—business, cultivating strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional event experiences that align with revenue goals and brand standards.This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue GenerationActively solicit, prospect, and secure new wedding and social event business to meet and exceed revenue targetsDevelop and execute strategic sales plans focused on weddings, including local market outreach, vendor partnerships, and bridal showsRespond to inquiries promptly and convert leads into contracted businessMaintain strong relationships with wedding planners, vendors, and local organizations to generate referralsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to remain competitiveClient Experience & Event PlanningConduct site tours, showcasing The Book Tower’s event spaces and capabilitiesOversee Convention Service Managers to ensure a seamless planning process from contract through executionPartner closely with clients to design thoughtful, personalized eventsCollaborate with culinary, operations, and banquet teams to ensure exceptional execution and guest experienceLeadership & CollaborationWork closely with Sales Managers, Convention Service Managers, and Operations teams to ensure smooth turnover and execution of contracted eventsProvide leadership and guidance to catering and event staff as neededParticipate in weekly sales meetings and funnel reviews to track performance and opportunitiesAdministrative & ReportingMaintain accurate records in Tripleseat and HubSpotEnsure all contracts, deposits, and billing processes are completed in a timely and accurate mannerTrack sales performance and contribute to forecasting and budgeting effortsQualifications3–5+ years of catering or event sales experienceProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goalsStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple events and clients simultaneouslyKnowledge of banquet operations, food & beverage, and event logisticsExperience with Tripleseat and HubSpot preferredFlexible schedule based on event needs, including evenings and weekendsWhy Join Method Co.Method Co. is a design-driven hospitality company that develops, designs, and operates a portfolio of boutique hotels, restaurants, and extended-stay concepts across the country.
