Due to growth, we are seeking a Financial Accounting Manager with supervisory experience to join our expanding team. The Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports and ensure compliance with SOX regulations.Manage the financial accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making processes.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.Qualifications5+ years of experience in accountingPublic accounting experienceSEC reporting and SOX compliance experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalentCPA certification is a plus Familiarity with government accounting and regulations, including FAR and CAS, is a plusBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related BenefitsAnnual base salary flexible depending on experienceCompany stock options Generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, disability, and retirement plans
