You'll thrive as you perform design of telecommunications systems for our client's advanced facilities.This position will provide Lead opportunities for delivery of complex packages, developing project delivery tools in coordination with engineers and design leads that form the core of our electrical delivery team. You will interface directly with our design teams to understand our workflow and seek opportunities to improve our efficiency and quality of our design. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, our teams create 3D models in coordination with architects and engineers. You maybe using tools such as Palantir, CoPilot, ChatGPT, SPA Frameworks, WebAssembly or other development tools to augment our design platforms.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.Here's what you'll needTwo-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree.BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International) RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) credentialConstruction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification15+ years of experience in A/E project delivery with hands-on design across multiple technologiesTen-years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction industryKnowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirementsKnowledge & application of telecommunications industry standardsKnowledge of Project DeliveryKnowledge of design and construction specificationsExperience in estimating application development timeFoundational understanding of common programming languages and scripting environments such as Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash - sufficient to read, modify, debug, and extend code with the aid of modern development tools and referencesFamiliarity with the Revit API and BIM workflowsExperience with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflowsWorking knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative development practicesStrong understanding of A/E deliverables and phases: SD/DD/CD, RIBA Stages, specifications (CSI format), equipment schedules, and construction administration submittal processesIdeally, you'll also have:Project management experienceWorking knowledge of 3D BIM software (Revit)10 years of design of large scale industrial facilities (e.g. hyperscale data centers, semiconductor manufacturing facilities.)Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems; fire alarm, access control, CCTV, electrical systems, telecom systems, wireless systemsKnowledge of control systems and network topologyOversight of Quality Assurance and Checking program for telecommunications systemsStart-up and Commissioning of telecommunications systemsOther Certification:iBwavePosted Salary Range: Minimum160,000.00Posted Salary Range: Upper200,000.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
