Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our cleaning team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality and custodial services. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and quality standards for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards. Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment. Address guest or staff concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, floor care, and janitorial procedures. Collaborate with management to develop operational policies and improve overall service quality. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting. Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and housekeeper management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
