Human Resources Generalist

HR GeneralistWe are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in benefits administration and payroll management. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations while ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing and delivering comprehensive employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Benefits AdministrationManage and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and leave programs Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees Liaise with benefits providers and brokers to ensure optimal plan performance and compliance Monitor benefits costs and assist with plan analysis and renewal processes Ensure compliance with all applicable laws (e.g., ACA, PEBA, COBRA, FMLA) Payroll ManagementProcess payroll accurately and on schedule (weekly/biweekly/monthly) Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Manage timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies Handle payroll audits and year-end processes (e.g., W-2s, tax filings) General HR FunctionsSupport employee relations by addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR policies Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies Contribute to HR projects and process improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of HR experience, with significant focus on benefits and payroll Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity) In-depth understanding of benefits administration and applicable regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Onsite Standard business hours with occasional extended hours during payroll cycles or open enrollment
