The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive educational environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needsProvide specialized instruction in accordance with state and federal guidelinesCollaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staffMonitor student progress and maintain accurate documentationAdapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate varying abilitiesFoster a supportive and structured classroom environmentCommunicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staffQualifications:Valid Special Education Teaching License (State of Washington preferred)Previous experience in a Special Education settingStrong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
