IT Consultant (Network)
Compensation: $94-140Location: Jackson, Mississippi or Monroe, Louisiana[TITLE]: IT Consultant - NetworksInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Consultant to join their team![BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BE DOING AND/OR WHY THE JOB IS OPEN if applicable]Responsibilities: Network Management:Design, implement, and maintain network systems using Cisco or Emerson technologies.Resolve network issues and optimize performance for reliability and security.Instrumentation and Controls Support:Configure and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems, including PI, DCS, TCA, and ARTEX.Monitor system performance and improve efficiency.Field Support and Asset Management:Provide on-site support and use asset management tools to manage and optimize systems.Required Qualifications & Experience: Network and Control Systems Experience:Experience with Cisco or Emerson technologies and instrumentation and control systems.Oil and Gas Background:Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.Programming Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.Nice to Have Skills & Experience:Certifications:Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Emerson certifications.Advanced Asset Management:Experience with advanced asset management tools.Project Management:Experience managing network or control system projects.Perks & Benefits: Travel: This role involves approximately 70% travel to surrounding areas.Schedule: Enjoy every other Friday off as part of our flexible work arrangement.If you are interested in learning more about the IT Consultant opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
