Responsibilities:WordPress Development:Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.Optimize website performance and speed.Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across different devices.Integrate third-party plugins and services as needed.Provide ongoing maintenance and support for WordPress websites.Custom Theme Development:Create custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes.Customize the appearance and functionality of websites to meet client requirements.Develop custom templates and layouts.Plugin Development:Create custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.Integrate plugins with other website components.Troubleshoot and resolve plugin-related issues.E-commerce Development:Develop and maintain online stores using WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.Set up payment gateways, shipping methods, and other essential features.Optimize the checkout process for a seamless user experience.Security:Implement robust security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities and attacks.Regularly update WordPress and plugins to ensure security patches are applied.Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.Performance Optimization:Optimize website performance through techniques such as image optimization, caching, and code minification.Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure project success.Communicate effectively and provide regular updates on project progress.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.Requirements:Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of WordPress core concepts, themes, and plugins.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development frameworks (e.g., Underscores, Genesis).Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.Preferred Skills:Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi).Familiarity with front-end development tools and frameworks (e.g., Sass, React).Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify).Knowledge of SEO best practices.Experience with headless WordPress architecture.
