Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Regional Logistics and Distribution Manager to lead end-to-end distribution strategy and execution across the Americas. In this role, you’ll ensure reliable, cost-efficient, and compliant delivery of Genus ABS products and services while driving an exceptional customer experience.You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in optimizing logistics operations, strengthening performance, and building a high-performing organization across the region. You Will Strategy & Network OptimizationDefine and execute regional logistics and distribution strategy aligned with business growth objectivesOptimize distribution networks, including routing, inventory placement, and transportation modelsManage third-party logistics providers to meet service, cost, and quality expectationsEstablish KPI governance and performance tracking to drive operational excellenceLeverage automation, digital tools, and analytics to improve efficiency and visibility Operational ExcellenceEnsure consistent, on-time, in-full delivery across the regionMaintain high standards for quality, animal welfare, and biosecurityStandardize processes to improve reliability and productivityLead root-cause analysis and implement solutions for service disruptions Cost & Financial ManagementOwn and optimize the regional cost-to-serve modelAlign logistics costs with customer needs and business prioritiesDevelop cost improvement roadmaps while maintaining service and complianceManage regional budgets, forecasting, and capital planning Technology & Continuous ImprovementImprove route planning, scheduling, and last-mile deliveryPartner with IT to enhance ERP and order management integrationDrive adoption of digital tools through change managementUse data and analytics to improve performance and decision-making Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Commercial teams to align logistics with customer segmentation and growth strategiesCollaborate with Operations and R&D to support innovation and regulatory requirementsSupport a strong One ABS culture across regions and functions Customer ImpactDeliver a reliable, responsive, and transparent customer experienceStrengthen customer relationships through consistent service deliveryEnsure logistics capabilities support business differentiation Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a geographically dispersed team across North and Latin AmericaBuild organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and developmentFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Risk, Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with transportation regulations, animal health standards, and safety requirementsProactively manage risks related to supply continuity and cold-chain integrityPromote a strong safety-first culture across operationsRequirementsExperience & Background8–12+ years of progressive logistics or supply chain leadership experienceExperience managing regional or multi-country distribution networksStrong background in network design, transportation strategy, and cost optimizationProven ability to lead through change and scale operationsExperience partnering with commercial teams to enable business growthInternational logistics experience strongly preferredEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related fieldAdvanced degree or certifications such as CLTD, SCPro, or similar preferred SkillsStrategic thinker with strong execution capabilityStrong financial acumen and cost management expertiseAnalytical, data-driven problem solverStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of digital and systems proficiencySpanish or Portuguese language skills are a plusBusiness OverviewGenus is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer.
