Lead Diesel Technician
Position Overview:
As a Lead Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment. Your expertise in hydraulics, after-treatment systems, and electrical wiring will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, with a focus on hydraulics, after-treatment systems, and electrical wiring.
Lead and mentor a team of technicians in executing repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of team members.
Keep accurate records of repairs, parts, and labor for tracking and reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics, with a strong emphasis on hydraulics and electrical systems.
Proven experience with after-treatment systems and diesel engine repairs.
Must possess a complete set of tools necessary for diesel repair.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM training) are preferred.
