Senior Software Defined Radio Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Design, develop, and deploy advanced SDR systems using Ettus Research USRP hardware Develop high-performance SDR applications with C++ and UHD Implement and optimize real-time DSP pipelines, custom waveform generation, and RF streaming architectures Interface directly with FPGA-based SDR architectures, high-speed Ethernet, and RF front ends Perform RF system integration, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting Produce technical documentation and support lab and field testing activitiesWhat You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline 8+ years of experience including strong hands-on experience with Ettus Research USRP platforms Strong proficiency in Modern C++, Python, Linux systems programming (including performance optimization), and multithreaded architectures Experience deploying systems with Red Hat Linux Experience developing with UHD API, real-time streaming systems, high-rate packet processing, and low-latency software architectures Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless communications systems, IQ signal processing, and digital modulation techniques Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain oneWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) projects Engage in research & development and advanced prototyping Hybrid work arrangementApply via Haystack today!
