Utility Service Coordinator
Work Hours: 40+ hours / week: M - FAbout the Role: Are you a people person who thrives on solving problems and making connections? Join KUB as a Utility Service Coordinator—your work will directly shape how homes, businesses, and communities grow in our region! In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you’ll serve as the go-to specialist for homeowners, builders, contractors, and developers needing residential or commercial utility services. You'll meet with customers daily to understand their needs, design utility solutions, and coordinate projects from start to finish. If you're organized, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this is the role for you!What You’ll DoAct as the primary point of contact for customers seeking new, modified or upgraded utility services.Prepare drawings, designs, cost estimates, and service contracts.Coordinate with builders, developers, contractors, inspectors, and internal KUB teams to ensure smooth project delivery.Manage multiple land development and utility installation projects simultaneously.Advise customers on utility service policies, fees, easements, agreements, and programs.Stay up to date on all KUB regulations, safety standards, and procedures.Participate in occasional after-hours emergency response or storm restoration efforts.Physical Requirements:Requires the ability to operate and to get in and out of a vehicle many times a day. Requires the ability to move freely throughout the office to review maps, drawings, and design layouts while meeting with internal and external customers. Requires the ability to move freely about customers’ properties over all types of terrain and walking considerable distances. Requires the ability to work under pressure and tight time constraints while addressing numerous customer issues related to providing new utility service.
