Working closely with the Program Director, you’ll oversee daily operations, support staff, and help create safe, empowering environments for the individuals we serve.This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to lead with heart, grow professionally, and truly change lives.Schedule & StatusFull-Time | Non-ExemptOn-call rotation: 24-hour coverage for a shared 5-day shift with the Program Director and other CSFsRole includes travel between program sitesLeadership & ReportingReports to: Program DirectorSupervises: House Managers (HM) and Community Living Instructors (CLI)What You’ll DoProvide direct support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with behavioral challenges, medical needs, psychiatric diagnoses, or forensic involvement, in accordance with individualized service plansSupport individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills, including daily routines, community integration, social skills, and self-advocacySupervisory & Leadership Responsibilities (as applicable)Assist in supervising and mentoring direct support staff to ensure high-quality, consistent service deliverySupport onboarding and training of new staff assigned to individuals on your caseloadMonitor staff performance and provide feedback related to individual care and service outcomesCoordinate and monitor individualized services, ensuring supports align with regional center requirements, service plans, and person-centered goalsServe as a liaison between individuals, families, service providers, regional centers, and internal teams to ensure continuity and quality of careAssist with behavior support strategies, de-escalation techniques, and implementation of behavior intervention plans in collaboration with clinical or behavioral teamsEnsure individuals’ health, safety, and well-being by monitoring medical needs, coordinating appointments, and following all care protocolsMaintain accurate, timely documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, service coordination updates, and compliance recordsProvide guidance, coaching, and oversight to direct support staff as needed, including training on individual support needs, policies, and best practicesParticipate in team meetings, case conferences, and trainings, contributing professional insight and recommendations for service improvementSupport crisis situations as needed, following agency protocols and collaborating with supervisors and external partnersUphold all agency policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and state/regional regulationsWhat We’re Looking ForEducationBachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s preferred) OR4+ years of experience in the Developmental Disabilities fieldPhysical & Job RequirementsAbility to travel between locations (approximately 50% of work time)Ability to implement First Aid, CPR, and Pro-Act proceduresCapable of multitasking in a dynamic environmentAbility to assist individuals with mobility needs, seizures, transfers, and wheelchairsMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbsMust be able to physically assist during aggressive or assaultive behaviors when neededMinimum RequirementsMust be 18 years or olderPass drug screening, TB test, and DOJ clearanceValid California Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and vehicle registrationClean DMV recordCompensation$23 – $25 per hour (based on experience; 2+ years required)Why Join A Bright Future?Purpose-driven work that truly mattersLeadership growth and hands-on impactSupportive, mission-focused teamOpportunity to make a difference every single dayIf you’re ready to lead with compassion and help build a brighter future for others—we’d love to meet you.Powered by JazzHRyzd7SPvIXT
