Title: Design Technician / Mechanical Design Technician Location: Boulder, Colorado Duration: 12+ months with Possible Extension Job SummarySeeking a Senior Design Technician with strong mechanical design and manufacturing experience to support product development, CAD design, validation, and process improvement activities in a medical device environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and modify mechanical components and assemblies using Creo or SolidWorks.Create CAD models, drawings, layouts, and design documentation.Support product development, prototyping, manufacturing, and field service improvements.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and production teams.Perform troubleshooting, testing, validation, and process improvement activities.Provide technical support and guidance for manufacturing operations.Required QualificationsStrong experience with Creo or SolidWorks CAD and mechanical design.Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication (bending brake, shearing, etc.).Experience with manual machining (mills, lathes).Experience manufacturing complex instruments/products.Medical device industry experience preferred.Knowledge of machine safety and ergonomic standards.Experience with validation and process development.Excellent communication skills.
