Learn more at www.dimension-energy.com.Position Summary Dimension Energy (DE), a leading developer of community solar, is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager/Director who will manage DE’s rapidly growing fleet of community solar plants. The Pre-Construction Manager/Director plays a critical role in the successful planning and execution of solar EPC projects. This individual will lead pre-construction activities including estimation, compliance, design coordination, scheduling, and contractor qualification. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in solar project development and construction processes. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Operations.Qualifications We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to be part of a high-growth company in one of the country’s most rapidly changing industries. We are looking for individuals eager to move quickly with us.• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.• 5-10 years of experience in estimating and solar EPC or construction project management.• Advanced knowledge of solar construction management processes, means and methods.• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.• Proven ability to motivate others inside or outside the organization.• Team player providing support to both team members, as well as members of the ex-tended team.• Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization.• Strong proficiency in communication.• The ability to solicit others for support for ideas and solutions.• The ability to quickly identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information to find a solution.• Anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies.• Demonstrate depth of technical knowledge and skill in solar construction.• Takes initiative to identify what needs to be done to maintain project schedule and budget and ensures a plan is in place.Responsibilities• Manage RFP administration for the portfolio nationwide.• Establish project budgets to evaluate RFPs for EPC selection.• Proactively establish costs in advance of the RFP process and calibrate as applicable.• Responsible for ensuring proper review of all contract exhibits from responsible stakeholders and is assigned key operations/execution contract exhibits to review, redline, and provide feedback on. Also responsible for ensuring all contract language between the EPC agreement and the exhibits that can affect pricing is provided for the Operations team.• Manage, update and maintain project schedules during the pre-construction phase.LocationAtlanta, GA or remoteThis role will involve travel approximately 10% of the time.
