Our engaged team leads with integrity, and unites with purpose, driving toward innovation and continuous improvement every day.ResponsibilitiesBuild a long-term pricing roadmap that incorporates segmentation, value-based pricing and customer profitability analysisLead pricing strategy for new products, market expansions and strategic accountsDevelop, train and mentor the Proposal & Pricing Team, ensuring timely, accurate and strategically aligned quotes are being deliveredConduct ongoing market intelligence on current price points leveraging competitive, distributor, and industry organization insights to inform pricing decisionsWork with Product Management to set market pricing (PPIF) using competitive and distributor intelligencePartner with the Sales Team to shape deal strategy, including contract pricing, rebates, and volume-based programsCollaborate with Finance to model pricing scenarios, cost changes and margin impactsLead cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability, including SKU rationalization, cost-to-serve analysis, and discount optimization, as well as leading annual pricing reviews and generate annual price increasesImplement pricing governance, approval thresholds, and margin-protection mechanismsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field5+ Years of pricing, commercial strategy, or financial analysis experience in industrial manufacturing and distribution3+ years managing peopleStrong product and industry acumenStrong analytical and modeling skillsProficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient in ERP operating systems (ideally P21/Epicor)Experience leading and managing projectsOur Employee Value PropositionMarket competitive benefits package, including company-sponsored health coverage, life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave and paid time offWork in a collaborative environment with passionate and innovative teammatesSolve is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination or harassment of any kind.
