In this role, you will assist with a variety of concrete construction tasks, including forming, pouring, finishing, reinforcing, and general site labor while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to project specifications.Responsibilities:Assist with concrete placement, pouring, and finishing operationsBuild, set, and strip concrete formsTie rebar and assist with reinforcement installationSet anchor bolts and embedded items as directedOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAssist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handlingWork closely with crew members and supervisors to meet project schedulesFollow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentRequirements:Willing and able to travel to various job sites; current projects are located in VA, MD, DC, and WVPrevious experience in concrete construction preferredAbility to read and interpret basic construction drawings and directionsStrong knowledge of construction tools and equipmentAbility to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditionsReliable transportation and strong attendance recordStrong attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a teamU.S. Citizenship required for security clearance and compliance purposesWhat You Receive in Return:Annual Bonus ProgramCompany contribution toward medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) / Roth retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid short- and long-term disability coveragePaid sick leaveHoliday payCompany-sponsored continuing education (classes, training, trade schools, or college)Work Environment: This role involves working primarily on active construction sites and traveling to various project locations.
