The Assembler will be responsible for assembling components and packing products according to guidelines for distribution. The Assembler will operate machines, hand tools, keep accurate records and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal Assembler has previous experience in a manufacturing environment, worked machines or as an Assembler and is a team player. The Assembler position is a full time, temp to hire position in Walnut, MS. Assembler Job Responsibilities: Assemble, Install & Operate Machines Pack, Weigh, Label Completed Items For Shipment Conduct Routine Inspections & Identify Defective Items Maintain Records For Time, Labor, Materials Used & Defective Parts Properly Use Packaging Materials, Including Hand Tools, Glues, Nails & Padding Maintain A Clean & Safe Work Area Follow & Wear All Safety & PPE Requirements Assembler Job Requirements: HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required Manufacturing Experience Preferred Grasp, Load, Unload Materials & Use Hand Tools Follow Written And Oral Instruction Must be Able to Stand, Sit, Kneel, Walk, Use Hands & Move Consistently Move & Lift up to 25 lbs on A Regular Basis
