Electrical Engineer II

Role: Electrical Engineer II (On-site)Location: Kansas City Metro (Must CURRENTLY RESIDE in/near the KC Metro)Compensation: Up to $100k plus bonus. Solid benefits.Employment Type: Fulltime/PermLogistics: On-siteTravel: 5-15% (minimal/periodic)Note: Must be authorized to work in the US on an unrestricted basis.Responsibilities: Design for Excellence (DFX), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) knowledge.Reviews customer project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper application of products within electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.Studies and understands related government and industry standards that govern the products being manufactured.Prepares technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.Participate and present technical information during design meetings or reviews.Manages and maintains accurate notes from observations in the field and/or facilities.Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds along with sustaining production support.Manages the Engineering Change Management system for designs that are released and in production.Resolves all questions or concerns with haste to mitigate facility down-time.Tracks issues from identification to resolution, while keeping stakeholders apprised of status.Coordinates with various engineering/production teams, serving as POC/liaison.Prepares comprehensive assessment reports as needed for engineering and production leadership.Travels periodically to project sites for evaluations and data collection for reporting purposes.Qualifications:Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering - ElectricalExperience: 3-5 years of progressive electrical engineering experienceTravel: 5-10%Work Schedule: 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
