With core skills in driving, commercial trucking, and operating tractor-trailers, you will ensure timely deliveries and uphold high safety standardsAUTOMATIC TRUCKS AVAILABLEResponsibilitiesTransport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centersInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancePlan routes and meet delivery schedulesDocument and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving (ELOG)Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violationsSkillsVerifiable work experience as a truck driver (FLATBED)Ability to drive long hours and travel regularlyExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsNo recent moving or driving violationsPaymiles guaranteed (ELOG only)Tarp payDetention payLayover payExtra stop payClean inspection bonus payWeekend bonus payFuel on every major truck stopRepairs done at every major truck stopPercentage pay offered after first year with usCall ext. 4
