Maintenance Technician (Englewood)

A large telecommunication company is looking to bring on a Maintenance Technician for a 12-month contract to hire with 5 days a week requirement. This role is responsible for performing hands‐on Layer 1 network build work within lab environments, including cable routing, fittings, equipment wiring, and establishing physical connectivity. Day to day, the technician installs, terminates, tests, and manages coax, Cat5/Cat6, and fiber cabling while supporting ONU installation, connectivity, and physical setup in the lab. The individual labels, identifies, and organizes network equipment, modems, ONUs, and all cabling and patching infrastructure to ensure clarity and consistency. They build and maintain clean, scalable, and well‐documented lab environments, following established standards for cable management, labeling, and physical documentation. In addition, this role supports engineering and testing teams by ensuring all infrastructure is installed correctly, ready for use, and conducive to efficient troubleshooting and repeatable testing, while maintaining ownership of Layer 1 execution quality and collaborating closely with team members.
