Job Description:Pathologist Opportunity in Brockton, MassachusettsLocation:Brockton, MABoston 25m Full-time, hospital-employed position within a well-established pathology departmentSchedule:40 hours/weekDay shift (MondayFriday)Rotating holidays and on-call coverage shared equally among department pathologistsPosition Overview:Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pathologist to join a collaborative team delivering comprehensive anatomical and clinical pathology services.Duties & Responsibilities:Surgical pathology, including frozen sections and immediate evaluations (radiology and endoscopy)Grossing large specimens and signing out all grossed specimensPeripheral blood smear reviewSemen morphology analysisTransfusion reaction and crossmatch reviewsCrystal identification in joint fluidsOn-call responsibilities and rotational cancer conference duties, including photographyEqual distribution of administrative and procedural responsibilities among department membersPractice Highlights:Collegial, team-oriented pathology departmentBalanced workload across all membersDedicated support staff including pathology assistantsIdeal Candidate:MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical PathologyStrong diagnostic skills across a broad range of pathology disciplinesWillingness to participate in all facets of departmental responsibilities
