You will play a key role in architecting payment flows, integrating with external partners, and migrating existing payment and file transfer workloads to the cloud while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.This is a fully remote, project-based opportunity suited for a senior freelance engineer with deep AWS and integration experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver secure, scalable payment and file transfer solutions on AWSArchitect and implement end-to-end payment flows, including:Integration with external partnersAPIs and secure data transfer mechanismsAct as the technical expert for the GoAnywhere platform, including configuration, administration, and enterprise integrationLead the migration of existing payment and file transfer workflows to AWSEnsure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including encryption, auditability, data protection, and access controlDevelop and document target architectures aligned with industry best practicesImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS-native or industry-standard toolsSupport testing, validation, performance tuning, and cost optimization within AWSCollaborate with internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycleSkills & Experience RequiredStrong hands-on experience as a Senior AWS EngineerProven background in payment systems and secure integrationsDeep expertise with the GoAnywhere (Managed File Transfer) platformExperience designing and migrating enterprise workloads to AWSSolid understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory standards in payment environmentsExperience implementing Infrastructure as CodeStrong troubleshooting and documentation skillsAbility to work independently in a remote, freelance setupFluent English (C1 level) – mandatoryNice to HaveExperience in financial services or other regulated environmentsExposure to large-scale or enterprise AWS architecturesWhy Join?Fully remote role within EuropeClearly defined six-month projectHigh-impact work in payments and cloud transformationFreelance-friendly B2B collaboration model
